How do I copy information from my PC to my laptop?

what ever happen to the good antiquated ethernet cable, temporarily set up a lan from pc to laptop and verbs away much faster than any other method.
personally i would use a usb harddrive ... or a flash drive ... or a dvd ...
Buy a worthy external hard drive that have a big memory like 60 GB or 100 GB. The obedient thing nearly external hard drives is that some of them are small and you can get it with you anywhere and it also work as a USB flash disk but only a bit big. Some external thorny drives are big and they are suitable for home use only.

With a mac, it is much more simple. If its text, of late simply hilight the text and click and drag. if its a pic, basically click and drag. If you want to copy and past laptop style, hold control key and not here click (that is right click for macs) and select copy and then stick. If you have it enabled within system preferences, put two fingers on the keypad and left click (another path to right click) then copy/paste.

How do I connect wires between modem and router to use my wireless service?
I own wireless service available, but I don't know how to plug into it. I have a nouns top, a modem, and a router. Can you direct me?

In your wireless router, you will see ports labeled LAN1, LAN2, LAN3, and LAN4. Those are for other computers that you want to have Internet. That cable coming from your modem to the Internet port within your router is the source for your wireless internet and the ports labeled LAN1, LAN2, LAN3, and LAN4. Your wireless router and modem are now setup for wireless internet access.
Just connect the modem to the WAN port on the router. Next check the settings on your router to product sure wireless is enabled and otherwise configured appropriately. The manual for the router should meander you through the configuration.

see if your tv and computer own a vga input the u need to buy the vga cable connect it then your computer should share you what to do and if it doesn't read the instrutions it came next to and if that doesn't work call up compaq computer ur tv provider and ask them, and a vga flex looks like that line you plug into the back of a desktop monitor. or jus run to goolglr imiges and type in vga cable im sure it would come up
Do you enjoy a tv out connector, or my laptop has a dv out? but I haven't used it. Did it beside my pc using avi files, but picture trait though alright, wasn't great.
you need a special variety of cables. it is saturday so you can run and buy it! U can also watch dvds near it. good luck!

How do I connect my cigular internet to my notebook?
I enjoy cingual phone service and I'd like to connect the internet service to my file book , I know that there is a nouns card a GT max but it won't fit into my labtop. Is there another card. or can I conect near a wifi or a bluetooth device.

I own a 7 PIN S-VIDEO with the red white and pallid hook-up for the back of my small screen. I have looked at numerous sites. Some say-so to hit Fn and then F8. I own tried this on some of my friends' Dell computers and it works. Then when i go to settings surrounded by my Display menu, it's not showing the tv as a secondary source, even though it's hooked-up to the tv. I hold no idea what to do subsequent.

How do I configure my wireless internet for my laptop?
I am so tired of this! I enjoy tried everything I can possibly think of, minus any luck. I try to connect and it says that the nouns failed because nearby was no response from the wireless router. I own a Westell 327w router, with Verizon as the ISP. My wireless card is a Dell Wireless 1390 WLAN Mini-Card. Can anyone lend a hand me? I have tried virtually every online give a hand source, so pointing me to one of those probably wont help. I really appreciate it if someone can assist me out.

Did you try restarting the router?
I have a router, and once surrounded by a while something goes wacky. Just unplug it, hang about 10 seconds, and plug it backbone in. If this does not work, restat the computer
