The hinge on my laptop have become very loose and won't hold the lid instigate anymore. Does anyone know how this can be fixed and if I can do it myself? Thanks in mortgage.
Answer:
If it's in warranty, contact Toshiba tech support for repair. If not, it might be easier to find a local computer store that does repairs (I prefer smaller stores fairly then the big fasten stores) and have them replace the hinge. It'll cost some money, but it can be done. (Had the hinges on my outmoded Toshiba A15 replaced.)
Go to Toshiba website and ask them about that. Should not be that expensive.
