How can i fix my bios?near is no boot directory christen?

can u back me too in doing the sequence on how to do it steps by step? im using a dell laptop

Answer:

BIOS resides surrounded by the memory called ROM (or Read Only Memory). It is on a CMOS chip which is powered through a freestyle even when your system is powered off.

Now, you can not update your BIOS unless your chip allows it. And you should not try to play beside BIOS if you are not a professional.

Take it to some expert to diagnose and correct the problem.
Dell PC's are slightly different from some other PC's but the sequence is the same. F2 to get hold of into the BIOS, look for a tab that says RESET TO DEFAULT settings and near you are done. PC MAN

However, my guess is that unless it's a loose cable or a recent change you made to your BIOS, your rock-hard drive died.
