How can i judgment my laptop peak on my TV?

I tried using S-Video cable but the TV shows black eyeshade and not even a blink on the TV Screen. Have anybody tried it? Please help me out.

Answer:

You will own to redirect the output of your laptop to your TV blind now. For that here is a Fn key on your laptop and you enjoy to press that with a combination of one of the Function key. Usually the F5, so it would be Fn + F5 for HPs. The first time you press it, your laptop screen would walk off and the peak would show up on your TV. Press it again and it would show both on your laptop and TV. Press it again and it would come back merely on your laptop.
r u sure that u set ur laptop to the duel monitor feature? except, thats ur problem. and if u did, then u call for to make sure ur tv is set to the s-video tube
go to a computer store and ask for a 3-prong vidio for a laptop to a T.V. and they should bestow you a cable with 3-prongs 1 ashen, 1 white, 1 red
Open your display properties in control panel and set the display tab to output to the svideo
You obligation to set your laptop to display the image out via the s-video. The settings are contained by the display manager (right-click on desktop --> properties ->> Settings.

You should see a second monitor grayed out. Right-click on and set it to atahced.

Alsp, most laptops also can swithc between LCD, VGA and s-video using a function combo (the purple ones on hte F key up top).

If you a re luscky and using the Intel graphics display driver, then you can newly right-clci k and select Graphics options >> Ooutput to> and select TV and monitor.
bring in sure the tv is on the right channel/input

then modify the tv setting contained by the display properties menu
