Hey! in good health I have a dell inspiron w/ a 4 cell lithium ion battery-operated and I use it with my wireless access card, but I solely get similar to 1 1/2 - 2 hours of work time out of it. I mean everywhere I be in motion I have to bring my charger near me just to be capable of do what I need to. Is within any way to relieve this?

right click on your desktop and click on properties. click on the screen shareholder tab and then power. click on the drop down arrow and select laptop instead of desktop or even max mobile, you will take a manners hit with any choice, but will get more battery-operated life
given that it is a 4-cell, it have a very restricted charge. I would suggest buying a 8-cell or 6-cell depending on your laptop model. The standard 4-cell only offer about 2 hours max for respectively full charge.
Yes, go to control panel and brings up theme and appearance, there is power guidance link on one of the tab. It lets you set the computer to stand by after unfamiliar for so long, changed screen brightness when on mobile, and etc.
