How can access the internet on my laptop when I am in a foreign country (france).?

Answer:

If you own WiFi use a hot spot most big cities have them somewhere. If no if you are staying at a apt hotel they may well own an Ethernet point you can use in your room. If none of these are available too you you would own to use dial up and you need a french modem cable (same cease on the computer different one for the telephone) remember to make sure dial up is enabled first beside your provider. Also don't forget to take a European (2 prong) electric socket adaptor next to you. All other standards for PC's in France are like peas in a pod.
Is your laptop wireless enabled? The other option you can do is attain a card from vodaphone which give you pattern access for a monthly fee.

1.If you hold a Wireless Lan adapter like D-Link Air DWL 650. You can use your laptop within Airports/hotel and other public places where the facility is immediately becoming more common.

2. Depending on your stay surrounded by France you can ,get a BB nouns. You can use the external modem which you are using at present. carry it also. Hope you will brush up your French vernacular ! Enjoy.
You can use a blootooth conection to your mobile, but be warned unit are extremely expensivew when using a UK mobile abroad.
if you are using a physical cable to connect after all you should entail is that broadband is being piped across the cable. I.e. pace into a Hotspot or friends house.

If you are using WiFi you can either piggy fund as a domestic user or you may have to apply for credits depending on the set up.

any way you should know how to get pretty righteous coverage in France, they hold higher speeds than the UK at the end of the day.

Bon vacance!
