I don't know if a MacBooks keycaps are manufactured equal as a PowerBook G4s, but here is instructions for replacing a keycap for a PB G4. Maybe ifixit.com has a pictorial.

Send it to a shop. If it's investigational, do you have warranty? It probably won't be too expensive. Or rather, just stick it pay for :D Then how did you type the letter 'Z'?

My ancient laptop keys I broke them stale when i was wacky and there be a little rubber entry I just pushed below them till I got a strange keyboard.
The macbook may be at variance with its stuff but he could own used a pen or something.
