How can I save my laptop from shutting stale when I close the lid?

Assuming you're running Windows XP, right click the desktop and then click Properties. Click the Screensaver tab, afterwards Power. Click the Advanced tab and you should have your option for when the lid is shut.
maybe disable hibernation contained by the power settings.
You may have hibernation set
be in motion to Desktop rightclk -> properties -> Under the Screensaver tab Click the Power....



Now now can see the tab's Like Power Schems Alaram etc etc

click the Advanced Tab Under the Power buttons u can see



When i close the lid of my computer ->> select what u want
