Help me. my information book noy working?

I own uninstaled a software from my note book and click the restart command. At equal time my son has pressed some buttons and after that my transcribe book is not working. when I turned it on nil comes to screen. no blast sounds. battery indicter is nearby. switch on indicator also showing. but power is not coming to CD rom and other parts. Please help out me. this is a Fujitsu Siemens life book f series, p111 window 2000 proffessional

push and hold power button till it beeps and next release then hang around ten sec and press and hold power button again and u should be OK..
try booting and hit the f8 key to start contained by safe mode
