Help please!! which processor is better?

VS

AMD Athlon(TM) 64 3500+ (2.2GHz/512KB L2 Cache)

The Dual core is the better processor. It have a bigger L2 cache and it can run many programs at once. It have a slower clock speed but it shouldn't make that much of a difference. The just time that the dual core is slower is when you're running a single thread application.
Dual Core... depends on what you would use it for.
