Help beside my G3 Ibook Please?

I hold an apple ibook which was working fine, I just this minute lost the power adaptor which has taken me a couple of months to replace. I very soon have it and own charged the Ibook. The battery is fully charged but the laptop won't turn on. Has anyone any tip or tricks or planning. Many thanks

Try taking freestyle out and put back within. Try running it with it plugged surrounded by. If you have an apple store implicit have them look at it, conceivably try a different battery.
